Since 1970, the Aerospace Lighting Institute (ALI) has been educating and disseminating technical information to the aerospace lighting industry. We currently offer two courses:

The August "Boot Camp" offers basic training on the different technical aspects of aerospace lighting including sessions on cockpit lighting, exterior lights, night vision compatibility, human factors, and lots more. This in-depth training is beneficial for everyone working with aerospace lighting.

The March "Technology Seminar" is designed to share updates regarding new technologies and to explore current issues affecting the industry. This is something you'll want to attend every year.

Both the August Boot Camp and the March Technology Seminar provide exposure to leaders within the industry - people who have the expertise and background to address your toughest questions. We organize various social activities to create relaxed opportunities to talk to these experts: exhibits, golf outings, hospitality nights, award luncheons, etc. If you work with lighting in the aerospace industry, you should register for these informative events.
